Day 3- What are your thoughts on Starfire and Robin?

I adore that this is a question. 

THEY. ARE. MY. OTP. They were my first real  OTP. They’ve been my OTP since I first saw the show in 2004! Otherwise known as 8 years of shippy goodness.  

So why do I love them? Because they’re adorable together and they balance each other out. He’s so focused and no nonsense and she’s so happy and light-hearted. They’ve been set up as a couple since the second episode of the entire series! And they had the episodes that everyone associates them with like Date With Destiny, Betrothed,  STRANDED, stuff like that but they also had the B plot or just background moments in almost every episode and truthfully it was the thing I hoped for most in new episodes when I was first watching the show. 

In most of the finale story arcs they had epic moments too. In Apprentice pt. 2 they had the most dramatic standoff ever. In Aftershock pt. 1 when she takes a FREAKIN BOULDER for him and “dies” and you hear Robin’s tortured scream of her name. In The End pt.2 when he’s about to leave with Slade to go into hell and rescue Raven and they have the intense hug of goodbye. But the best part about that scene is after they hug they just look at each other because they’re not sure if they’ll ever see each other again and you just KNOW that they were going to kiss but Slade had to cut in and say it was time to go. 

I adore everything about them together. They had their cute moments, the truly romantic moments, the intense angsty moments, and just those moments when he would save her or vice-versa during battle. Not to mention the times when they would work together during the battle, I always have to fangirl for a little bit. They care about each other so much it’s not even funny. I mean during Haunted when she heard that he could die she RIPPED THE FLOOR OPEN and flew down to save him and just every time she falls he has to save her. 

Not to mention that they were best friends the entire time before they got together which only strengthened their bond. So he was always the first one she went to for explanations about all the earth stuff that she didn’t understand and their were each others closest confidants. Now I know that this is probably getting way to long because honestly I could write an entire book about why I adore these two so I’ll just end here.
